Project Background

SNACC is a nonprofit in New York City that aims to teach kids independence through cooking. They deliver the groceries and even have guest chefs teach the recipes over zoom. They had an outdated website that needed a face lift. They wanted to bring a fun tone and show people exactly who they are and what they do.

Impact- 77% New Users

Before

The original hero image doesn't give any context about who the organization is. Text is hard to read and the overall site needs a facelift.

Before

Use of impersonal stock photos and users have to click out of the website to email the organization to find out how to get involved.

Before

Outdated generic illustrations that don't have the same style.

Before

Original version was lackluster and needed more digestable ways for users to process the information.

After

Chose a hero image that actually depicts what the non profit does. Empowering kids through cooking.

After

Created a stylish option with the SNACC logo for people to get involved directly on the website.

After

Added a fun tagline and fresh illustrations that pair well together.

After

Made a fun picture collage and added a tagline to catch attention.

Utilized the color pallet to highlight mission statements.
